In its 5th edition, Ventana Sur celebrates LATAM fantastic cinema by creating a special section called Blood Window.
Gore, Horror, Sci–fi and Bizarre films produced during 2012 & 2013 will be shown on this exclusive video library section only available for Sales Agents, Festival programmers and International Distributions.
The section BWIP (Bloody Work in Progress) was in charge of Jose Luis Rebordinos, renowned director of San Sebastian International Film Festival. Six films in post-production stage were selected to compete for awards on services and distribution.
The jury of the BWIP Blood Window Awards granted the prizes, which consist of post-production and distribution services. The ceremony took place at the Auditorium of Ventana Sur, the film market organized by INCAA and Marché Du Film, Cannes Festival.
The jury Pablo Guisa awarded the prize for distribution in DVD, VOD and PAY TV for Mexican territory to:
"NATURALEZA MUERTA", (Still Life) by Gabriel Grieco (Argentina).
"MAR NEGRO", (Black Sea) by Rodrigo Aragao (Brazil).
Finally, Blood Window had a video library with 70 films produced between 2012 and 2013 only available for distributors, sales agents, directors, and festival programmers.
